Welcome to the Xue Laboratory

duplex DNA

My research activities focus on studying the interactions between drugs and secondary nucleic acids including G-quaduplex and triplex DNA. The goals of research are to develop novel human telomerase inhibitors for cancer treatment and anti-gene enhancers for sequence-specifically targeting gene. Ongoing projects combine areas of synthetic organic chemistry, biochemistry, and bioanalytical chemistry.

New NSF-sponsored (MRI-1828179) instruments (Affinity ITC and Nano DSC) installed in the lab!

Graduate student position available! Please contact Dr. Liang Xue.
